CheckMyRemodel is a Guiding Dawn Holdings product built to help people track the money side of renovations, rehabs, and flips. This policy explains the information we may collect, why we use it, and the choices available to you.
Information you provide
When you use CheckMyRemodel, you may provide account information, project names, starting budgets or contract amounts, contractor or vendor names, scope details, changes, credits, payment records, notes, dates, and optional project photos. You choose what project information to enter.
Project photos and documents
Project photos are stored for your account and delivered through authenticated project access. They are not intended to be public galleries. Do not upload information you do not need for project tracking or content you do not have the right to store.
Payment information
Paid project unlocks are processed by our payment provider. CheckMyRemodel does not need to store your full card number. We may receive payment status, transaction identifiers, and basic billing information needed to confirm access, maintain records, and provide support.
Usage and technical information
We may collect basic device, browser, referral, page-view, and feature-usage information to operate the service, diagnose problems, understand which tools are useful, measure acquisition, prevent abuse, and improve CheckMyRemodel.
Cookies and tracking
CheckMyRemodel uses strictly necessary authentication and session technology so signed-in customers can securely access their accounts and saved projects. These technologies are required for the service to function and are not used for behavioral advertising.
We use Vercel Analytics to understand basic site and product usage. Our current analytics setup does not rely on advertising cookies, and CheckMyRemodel does not currently use Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, Google Ads remarketing, or similar behavioral advertising trackers. If we introduce non-essential advertising or remarketing technologies later, we will reassess the disclosures and consent controls required before enabling them.
How we use information
We use information to provide and secure CheckMyRemodel, save projects, calculate project totals, process purchases, send transactional messages, respond to support requests, improve the product, and measure product performance.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us host the application, store project data and private files, process payments, send transactional email, monitor reliability, analyze basic usage, or provide customer support. Those providers receive only information reasonably necessary to perform their services.
Retention and deletion
We retain project and account information while your account or project remains active and as reasonably necessary for security, support, legal, and accounting purposes. Signed-in customers can delete individual projects or delete their CheckMyRemodel account from account settings. Account deletion also removes associated project records and stored project photos except where limited records must be retained for legitimate legal, security, payment, or accounting purposes.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect account and project information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so avoid storing sensitive information that is not necessary for project-cost tracking.
Your choices
You may choose not to provide optional project details. You may also request access, correction, or deletion of personal information by contacting CheckMyRemodel support.
