CheckMyRemodel is a Guiding Dawn Holdings product built to help homeowners and property investors track remodel and rehab costs. This policy explains the information we may collect, why we use it, and the choices available to you.
Information you provide
When you use CheckMyRemodel, you may provide account information, project names, contract amounts, change-order details, contractor names, payment records, notes, dates, and optional project photos. You choose what project information to enter.
Payment information
Paid project unlocks are processed by our payment provider. CheckMyRemodel does not need to store your full card number. We may receive payment status, transaction identifiers, and basic billing information needed to confirm access and provide support.
Usage and technical information
We may collect basic device, browser, referral, page-view, and feature-usage information to operate the service, diagnose problems, understand which tools are useful, and improve CheckMyRemodel.
Cookies and tracking
CheckMyRemodel uses strictly necessary authentication and session technology so signed-in customers can securely access their accounts and saved projects. These technologies are required for the service to function and are not used for advertising.
We use Vercel Analytics to understand basic site and product usage. Our current analytics setup does not rely on advertising cookies, and CheckMyRemodel does not currently use Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, Google Ads remarketing, or similar behavioral advertising trackers. If we introduce non-essential advertising or remarketing technologies in the future, we will reassess the disclosures and consent controls required before enabling them.
How we use information
We use information to provide and secure CheckMyRemodel, save your projects, calculate project totals, process purchases, respond to support requests, improve the product, and measure acquisition and product performance.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us host the application, store data, process payments, send transactional email, monitor reliability, or provide customer support. Those providers receive only the information reasonably necessary to perform their services.
Retention and deletion
We retain project and account information while your account or project remains active and as reasonably necessary for security, support, legal, and accounting purposes. Signed-in customers can delete individual projects or delete their CheckMyRemodel account from the account settings area. You may also contact support for assistance. Certain transaction, security, legal, or accounting records may be retained when reasonably necessary or legally required.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect account and project information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so avoid storing sensitive information that is not necessary for project-cost tracking.
Your choices
You may choose not to provide optional project details. You may also request access, correction, or deletion of personal information by contacting CheckMyRemodel support.
