These Terms govern your use of CheckMyRemodel, a Guiding Dawn Holdings product. By using CheckMyRemodel, you agree to these Terms.
What CheckMyRemodel does
CheckMyRemodel is a project-cost tracking tool for renovations, rehabs, and flips. It helps organize starting budgets or contractor scopes, additions, credits, pending changes, contingency, and payments so you can maintain a current project total. It is not construction-management software and does not replace a construction contract, contractor invoice, lender record, accounting system, legal advice, tax advice, or professional construction advice.
Your responsibility for project information
You are responsible for the accuracy of amounts, dates, approvals, payment records, scope details, and other information you enter. Estimates and calculator outputs are planning tools, not bids or guarantees. Confirm material project decisions directly with the appropriate contractor, lender, accountant, attorney, or other professional.
Free tools and paid projects
CheckMyRemodel may provide free calculators, guides, limited project functionality, or previews. Continued project tracking is priced at $19 per project unless a different price is clearly shown at checkout. CheckMyRemodel is not sold as a recurring subscription under the current pricing model.
Purchases
Purchases are processed through our payment provider. Applicable taxes, refunds, promotions, or special terms will be shown at checkout or otherwise communicated at the time of purchase.
Limited license
Subject to these Terms, Guiding Dawn Holdings grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access and use CheckMyRemodel for your own lawful project-cost tracking purposes. No ownership rights in the software, site, branding, calculations, interface, or underlying technology are transferred to you.
Our intellectual property
CheckMyRemodel, its software, source code, product design, user interface, graphics, logos, copy, calculation models, and other original product materials are owned by Guiding Dawn Holdings or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except as permitted by law, you may not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, sublicense, scrape, reverse engineer, or create derivative products from protected portions of the service.
Your project content
You retain ownership of project information, notes, photos, and documents you provide. You grant us the limited rights necessary to host, process, transmit, back up, and display that content solely to operate, secure, support, and improve the service.
Acceptable use
You may not misuse CheckMyRemodel, attempt to access another user's project, interfere with the service, bypass access controls, probe the service for vulnerabilities without authorization, use the service unlawfully, or use automated means to extract protected product content at unreasonable scale.
Availability and changes
We may update features, calculations, pricing, or these Terms as the product evolves. We may temporarily suspend access for maintenance, security, reliability, or legal reasons.
No guarantee of project outcome
CheckMyRemodel calculates and organizes information based on the inputs and assumptions provided. We do not guarantee contractor performance, project completion, final construction cost, investment return, financing availability, tax treatment, permit outcomes, or third-party information.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CheckMyRemodel and Guiding Dawn Holdings are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of the service. Any direct liability will be limited as permitted by applicable law.
